Artist Efim Novikov

Efim was born in Russia in 1936. Graduating from the Moscow Art and Industry University in 1964.

Efim established a successful career as both designer and renowned artist before immigrated to Australia with his family in 1997.

Between 1964 and1985 Efim participated in many collective exhibitions in Russia, Czech Republic and Belgium as a designer.

Since 1990 he has held several painting and graphic exhibitions around the world including
Moscow, Budapest, Berlin, Tanzania, Greece and Australia.

Efim’s works started to exhibit in Australia before his arrival. Since 1996 he had 16 personal
exhibitions in Sydney. To name a few: the Botanical Gardens (Festival of Flowers, 1996), DQ Art
on Oxford, The National Innovation Centre, The TAP Gallery, Bondi Pavilion Gallery, Art House
Hotel, Angie K Gallery, Blank-Space Gallery, The Sydney International Cultural Centre, 72
Erskine St. & 2 Danks St. Waterloo.

Many of Efim”s works appear in many galleries and museums in Russia as well as in private
collections and offices around the world including Australia, Russia, USA, UK, France, Ireland,
Iceland, Israel, Canada, Japan, Germany, Norway, Tanzania, Poland, Yugoslavia.
